Celebrate Lancaster

This year the City of Lancaster has partnered with Crispus Attucks Community Center to present Celebrate Lancaster:  Honoring Umoja!

Umoja, meaning unity in Swahili, is the spirit of community. The City and Crispus Attucks are working together to make this year’s Celebrate Lancaster an even bigger celebration of Lancaster City’s residents and their cultures by celebrating the feeling of Umoja and its connection to the Juneteenth holiday.

Planned programming includes spoken word poetry, music performances, and food and craft vendors. In addition, Crispus Attucks will honor four individuals with Community Impact Awards in recognition of their work supporting our community.
